Tanzania lies to the south of Kenya and offers a wealth of game watching opportunities. Our safaris visit Tanzania's best game viewing areas including the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
All road transfers and game drives are conducted in 4x4 safari cruisers which are equipped with binoculars, guide and reference books, bottle coolers, bush-lunch awnings and power points to charge your camera.
This exclusive safari can be done by road where you will benefit from a guaranteed window seat with game drives and short stops en route between your destinations.
This safari is also available by air, travelling in style and comfort in Elewana's new executive Cessna Grand Caravan, which has nine executive club class seats.
The itinerary is based on full board with drinks (excluding Champagne, exclusive cellar wines, cognacs and single malt whiskeys). Drinks are available throughout the day and also on game drives.
Journey through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the famed Serengeti. Venture into the dry and savagely beautiful bush country, which attracts a variety of wildlife including wildebeest, zebras, elephants, rhinos, oryx, buffalo, Africa's big cats and birds of prey.
Arusha Coffee Lodge lies cradled in the endless acres of Tanzania's largest coffee plantation. This exclusive boutique lodge radiates the warmth of the old colonial plantation homes. Why not take the opportunity to relax by the pool and take in some of the scenery of the surrounding area.
Then onto the elephant capital of Tarangire. Here you will stay at Tarangire TreeTops, perched high up in the age-old baobab and marula trees. This exclusive lodge has a magical, adventurous and exotic feel, whilst exuding a timeless essence, which will take you back to days gone by.
Ngorongoro Farm House is situated at the foot of Ngorongoro Crater and boasts three stylish and sophisticated, yet refreshingly simple camps. This is a perfect place to relax with the possibility of cycling or walking around the scenic coffee plantations.
Onto the world-famous Serengeti National Park, which will include a stay at the Serengeti Migration Camp. Richly furnished throughout, the camp provides a haven of sumptuous indulgence. Its spacious tents have been carefully placed to provide privacy and they blend into the natural environment, overlooking the Grumeti River and its resident hippos.

Tarangire TreetopsBy Air: After a leisurely breakfast enjoy a tour of The Burka Coffee Estate followed by an alfresco lunch in the gardens. Later transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive.
Overnight: Tarangire TreetopsDAY 4 TARANGIREBy Road: A full day in the Tarangire National Park to enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Optional activities such as game walks and night game drives are available at an extra cost.
By Air: This day is spent in the Tarangire Conservancy. Enjoy an early morning walk and visit to a traditional Masai Village. After lunch, depart on an afternoon game drive to Sunset Hill for sundowners, followed by a night drive.
Overnight: Tarangire TreetopsDAY 5 NGORONGOROBy Road: After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Karatu and to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight:

By Air: After breakfast depart for a game drive through Tarangire National Park, stopping for a sumptuous hamper picnic lunch. Later continue to the Tarangire airstrip for your onward flight to Manyara where you will be met and transfer to The Manor at Ngorongoro in time for high tea.
Overnight: Manor at NgorongoroDAY 6 NGORONGOROBy Road and Air: After breakfast drive into the crater for a half-day crater visit followed by a visit to a local Masai village.
Overnight: Manor at NgorongoroDAY 7 SERENGETIBy Road: After breakfast drive to the Serengeti National Park for a picnic lunch. A brief stop is made at the Ol Duvai Gorge and museum. Continue to Migration Camp arriving in the late afternoon with a game drive en route. Overnight at the Migration Camp.
By Air: After breakfast, an opportunity for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions. Maybe just simply relax at Manor at Ngorongoro, or indulge in a spa treatment. The more adventurous can enjoy either horseback riding, cycling or a tour of the estate. (If game drive at Lake Manyara is chosen, the spa treatment can be arranged for the previous evening). After lunch, transfer to the airstrip at Manyara for onward flight to the Serengeti. Met on arrival and transfer to Serengeti Migration Camp with game viewing en route.

DAY 8 SERENGETIBy Road: Early morning
Balloon flight over the Serengeti followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast
(optional extra). A full day in the Serengeti to enjoy game drives. Overnight at the beautiful Migration Camp.

DAY 9 ARUSHABy Road: After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight by light aircraft to Arusha (approximately 1 hr). Met on arrival and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return home or connect for a flight for your beach stay. Why not try a beach stay in either Zanzibar or Kenya.
By Air: After breakfast a guided game walk along the banks of the Grumeti River. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Met and transfer to
Arusha Coffee Lodge for overnight stay, where you will benefit from a complimentary upgrade to one of the Plantation Suites.(b,l,d)
DAY 10 DEPART: After a leisurely breakfast, you may choose from a selection of morning activities including a visit to the Tanzanite Museum, shop at the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, or experience the colourful Masai Market. After lunch, transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Heathrow via Nairobi. (b.l)
